The engine

News! We now have the new motor piece HAWK Thunder for delivery.

Stroke has been dramatically increased up to 4mm. The increased stroke in conjunction with the rotational speed of the new drive and the optimized eccentric tappet provides very high speed- and acceleration-values​​. The power reserves of the engine are now used much more effectively. This cannot be only felt evidently, you can hear it, too!

The Hawk uses a high quality, high-performance motor.

The unique construction of The Hawk operates with a rotating motion, instead of a back-and-forth motion. This allows The Hawk to produce the exact same stroke length every time, regardless of skin resistance. The needle protrusion is variable, and adjusted by rotating grip that is attached to the motor piece.

A traditional coil machine (back-and-forth motion) will produce different travel depths every time depending on skin thickness and resistance.

The Hawk tattoo system does not require you to do adjustments, and there are no springs or rubber bands which needs frequent service or replacement. The only maintenance required is cleaning, and this is also much easier than cleaning other machines because no blood or ink gets stuck inside of the grip or motor piece.
The Hawk also has has substantially less vibration and is much more quiet than a coil machine.

Power unit

An easy-to-use power supply for tattoo machines. Precise digital adjustment of puncture speed and no protruding buttons on the panel.

Puncture speed is variable in steps of 10 from 50 to 150 punctures per second (3000 rpm to 9000 rpm).

Two machines can be connected simultaneously, switching between the machines simply by the press of a button. Coil machines can also be connected connected to this power unit using a cable adapter (purchased separately).

The unit is very lightweight, making it suitable also for traveling.

Needles

Needles are sterilized (Ethylene Oxide) and come individually packed, where the needle + membrane + tip are joined together into a disposable single-use cartrige.

The cartrige is put into place without tools in a few seconds. This means that only one grip and one machine is needed for a session. Preparation and cleaning time is reduced dramatically.

Needles also puts ink in very good!
The completely linear, just in-and-out motion with no sweeping/oscillating movement at all of the needle, reduces the trauma to the skin and helps the tattoo heals faster and better, leaving more ink inside the skin.

Grips

The grip for The Hawk come in two different sizes.
•    19mm
•    25mm.
They are made from aluminium, and have the uniqe feature that needle protrusion can be adjusted simply by turning the grip.
